The hourly values view list the recordings of a particular station for the current day or a selected period of time in the time resolution of the station (1 record per hour for most stations, but also 2 or 4 records per hour for some of the stations). To get to the hourly view, you can use the map of the stations on the home page or the AWS By Country navigation menu.
To access from the map of the stations, head to the on the Home Page and locate the station of interest. Click on the map block to open the popup and select hourly values.
To access the hourly view from the navigation bar, click the AWS BY COUNTRY menu item to activate the panel listing all the stations organised by country. Locate the station of your interest and click on it
Either of the methods above should lead you to the hourly values view, similar to the image below:
The secondary menu that comes in after the primary navigation is in the context of the selected station, allowing you navigate easily between the hourly/daily/monthly views and station information and data pages.
You can customise the view by adjusting the time period and shown parameters.
By default, the values of the last day of recording are listed. To view a different time period or even a longer period of time, click on the date filter field and select a predefined period such as yesterday, last 3/7/30 days, this/last month, or specify a custom range.
You can also specify the parameters that you are interested in by clicking on the Parameters field. Select as many as you want from the available list in the dropdown suggestions.
To activate the selected filters (either the time period or the parameters or both), click on the refresh button.
The table view provides a tabular view of the hourly records for all the sensors present in the station or those that you have filtered to view from the filters described above.
Please note: a star and bracket *) in any of the sensor columns means the sensor is blocked due to erroneous values. A dash - means the recorded value is improbable and was therefore blocked pending reactivation by data verification.
Interactive charts for air temperature in relation to precipitation; humidity; and solar irradiance are available below the tabular view. The time period of this charts is in line with the time period of the table and adjusts according to applied time period selection.
The summary and additional information table provides details such as the Number of data records shown, a sum total of the recorded precipitation including fog if available at the station, a sum total of solar irradiance, an indication of hours for which recordings are not available, information on any malfunctioning sensors, as well as a link to download the data of this view in CSV format.
